Australia’ largest independent tyre retail chain, Tyrepower, has put its national network behind Tyre
Stewardship Australia as part of an industry wide push to address an up to 48 million old tyres per year challenge.
With over 300 independent stores operating under the Tyrepower banner, the retail group’s participation in the newly
established Tyre Stewardship Scheme adds further momentum to the support for the initiative, which includes backing from
tyre manufacturers covering over 60% of the Australian tyre market.

JLB has been a long term Tyrepower ambassador, serving as a community touchpoint for us no matter if he is at the race-track or getting around in his day to day life. In 2024 Jack has been driving for Erebus Motorsport and sporting Tyrepower naming rights livery for his #9 Tyrepower Racing by Erebus Camaro, including claiming Pole Position to follow on from his race victory in 2023 with Matt Stone Racing. Supercars Championship - Official Tyre Retailer
Tyrepower has renewed its partnership as the Official Tyre Retail Partner of the Repco Supercars Championship, extending the collaboration through at least 2027. This new three-year agreement brings back the iconic Tyrepower Cutting at Bathurst, continuing Tyrepower’s long history with the sport. The partnership strengthens Tyrepower's commitment to Australian motorsport, including its involvement with Erebus Motorsport and theTyrepower V8 SuperUtes. LifeChanger Foundation
Tyrepower proudly supports the LifeChanger Foundation having a positive impact on students with the goal of preventative youth mental health programs and building social skills. In 2024, with Tyrepower’s support, we have already positively impacted thousands of young people in schools and sporting clubs across six key regions. As part of our partnership, every Tyrepower store in SA and VIC was given the opportunity to nominate a local school or sporting club in their community to receive a fully funded LifeChanger preventive youth mental health program, which delivered fantastic results to be built into the future.
