Tyre Details

The E?Primacy 2 continues the philosophy of eco?designed tyres: it is engineered with compounds and construction techniques that reduce rolling resistance, thereby minimising energy loss during driving and improving fuel efficiency (for combustion?engine cars) or extending battery range (for EVs). At the same time, the tyre is built for durability and longevity — with a construction that distributes forces evenly across the contact patch, which reduces uneven wear. Its tread pattern (often featuring U?shaped grooves) is designed to evacuate water efficiently, helping to maintain good wet?weather performance throughout the life of the tyre.

Key Features

  • Low rolling resistance - The tyre uses a specialised compound and slim?belt design that reduce rolling resistance, leading to lower fuel consumption or extended EV battery range.

  • Long tread life and even wear - Thanks to its construction and pressure distribution across the contact patch, the tyre wears more evenly over time — meaning fewer replacements and better value over its lifespan.

  • Strong wet-weather performance throughout life - The tread design with U?shaped grooves (or similar water?evacuation features) helps maintain good grip and braking in wet conditions — even as the tyre wears — which supports safety in rain or wet roads.

  • Suitable for modern fuel?efficient, hybrid and EV vehicles - Because of its efficiency?focused design, it’s often chosen as original equipment on newer cars and is particularly useful if you want to maximise economy and reduce environmental impact.
